Jamie's Vision for Alabama
There is no place like Sweet Home, rural Alabama.
We are home to great small-town communities, hard-working farmers, impressive small business owners, and the hardest-working people I have ever seen.
While we are all fighting to make ends meet, I can't help but notice some of the things that our elected officials in Montgomery are doing.
While our small businesses and farmers are struggling to stay in business, our elected leaders approved a $400 million project to build a brand new facility for the Alabama House of Representatives.
While our Rural Healthcare system is collapsing around us, our elected leaders approved a $1.25 billion plan to build two new prisons in Elmore and Escambia Counties.
These are just two examples of several that highlight the problem in Montgomery.
When those politicians want to find money to do something they want, they figure out a way to make it happen, but when it comes to the rest of us out here in the real world, we are given excuses as to why things can't happen for us.
This is why I am running y'all.

We deserve to have a state government that focuses its time, energy, and resources on areas that matter most. YOURS!

If elected, here are some of the things I would be advocating to see:
Strengthening Rural Communities
For many years, rural communities in District 13 have been overlooked, left behind, or left to fend for themselves. Jamie will fight for fair funding, better roads, expanded broadband, and improved community services so every family has the support and opportunity they deserve.
Improving Healthcare
Families in District 13 face long drives and limited options when they need medical care. Jamie supports strengthening rural clinics, improving emergency services, expanding care for seniors, and ensuring working families have access to affordable, reliable healthcare close to home.
Supporting Small Businesses
As a 35-year small business owner, Jamie understands the challenges local businesses face — long hours, rising costs, and limited support. He will advocate for policies that help small businesses grow, create jobs, and strengthen our local economy. Jamie believes in cutting red tape, improving access to capital, and supporting the entrepreneurs who form the backbone of District 13.
Protecting Farmland and Our Alabama Land
District 13 is rooted in agriculture, and Jamie is committed to protecting the land that feeds our communities. He supports preserving farmland, improving water quality, reducing pollution, and promoting responsible land use. Alabama’s natural beauty and resources must be protected for the next generation.
Better Roads, Better Broadband, Better Communities
For too long, rural areas have lacked the infrastructure they deserve. Jamie will work for stronger roads, safer bridges, reliable broadband internet, and modern utilities so that every family, school, and business in District 13 can stay connected and competitive in today’s world.
Supporting our Schools and Teachers
Every child in Alabama deserves a strong start. Jamie supports investing in local schools, improving teacher pay, expanding vocational and technical training, and giving classrooms the resources they need. Education shouldn’t be political — it should be practical, effective, and safe for every child.
Honoring Veterans and Military Families
Alabama has a proud tradition of military service. Jamie will fight for better resources for veterans, improved access to VA services, and more local support for military families. No one who has served our country should struggle to access healthcare, benefits, or community support.
Supporting Law Enforcement and First Responders
Jamie believes in strengthening public safety by supporting the men and women who protect our communities. He supports improving training, upgrading equipment, increasing mental health resources for first responders, and ensuring small-town departments get the funding they need to stay strong.
Building a Strong Local Economy
Jamie will work to bring new jobs, expand rural industry, and support local farmers, builders, and small companies. A stronger economy means stronger families — and Jamie is committed to creating opportunity so more people can live, work, and thrive right here in District 13.
Faith, Family, and Alabama Values
Jamie believes leadership should be rooted in honesty, service, and the values that make Alabama strong. He is committed to putting families first, protecting our local communities, and ensuring that our needs remain at the heart of our future.
